Beautiful antique Czech violin. “Joh Michl & Sohn Graslitz” Fully restored to showroom condition, with new pegs, new Dominant strings, new Despiau bridge, new Wittner tailpiece. Beautiful tone. 

Kraslice (Czech pronunciation) or Graslitz (German pronunciation) is a town in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. 

Two-piece back, flamed maple. This antique violin has an exceptionally beautiful sound, with a clear and resonant voice which has matured as the violin has aged. Beautiful tonewoods shape the identity of this instrument, which has been carefully restored by Phil Whitehead and we offer it to you in superb condition.
