The Thomastik-Infeld Vision Titanium Solo (VIT100) set utilises a hybrid construction strategy, combining a specialised metal core for the E string with advanced synthetic cores for the lower three strings to maximise projection and tonal warmth.

E String (VIT01)

The E string is constructed from a stainless steel (sometimes described as multi-layer chrome steel) core. Unlike standard tinned steel E strings, this wire features a unique titanium design coating. This metallic construction is responsible for the set's characteristic brilliance and cutting power. It has a removable ball end made of Titanal, allowing for compatibility with various tailpiece configurations.

A String (VIT02)

The A string shifts to an advanced synthetic core, which provides greater flexibility and warmth compared to a full steel construction. This core is wound with aluminum. The combination yields a focused, clear tone that bridges the gap between the brilliant E and the resonant lower strings, maintaining quick response and stability.

D String (VIT03)

The D string features the same advanced synthetic core as the A string but is wound with silver. The use of silver winding adds mass without excessive thickness, resulting in a deep, resonant, and complex tone. This construction helps balance the tension across the set, ensuring the D string matches the power of the G string.

G String (VIT04)

Like the D string, the G string is built on an advanced synthetic core and wound with silver. This heavy-gauge silver winding over the flexible synthetic core produces a powerful, dark, and projecting low register. The equal tension design between the G and D strings prevents the "weak D" phenomenon common in other sets, ensuring a seamless transition across all four strings.
