Explaining Larseb Cello Strings Types:

Larsen Soloist, Magnacore, Il Cannone, and Sovereign all differ.......

Soloist offers enhanced projection and focus with solid steel cores, delivering smooth warmth ideal for soloists seeking clarity without excess power.

Magnacore provides a balanced, charismatic sound with rich colours and strong bow resistance - versatile for professionals, available in Medium/Strong, with multi-stranded cores on lower strings for depth and volume.

Il Cannone (Direct & Focused or Warm & Broad) steps up with greater core definition, power, and interchangeability; more focused than Magnacore, solving metallic open-string issues while expanding options.

Sovereign is the most soloistic: ultra-fast response, maximum definition, and powerful projection from raw grit to lyrical warmth, with newly engineered tungsten lower strings for commanding authority.
