The Endeavour BRAIDED carbon fiber cello case was designed to fill a long-felt need by cellists for a light, strong and portable case, and to be the ideal cello travel case. It is extremely light - being made of a highest-grade braided carbon fibre that not only protects but insulates the instrument as well. This is the strongest cello case available in the Endeavour range, and truly designed for maximum strength.

How it works
Braided carbon fibre is strongest, because the woven braids of carbon fibre are geometrically stable in multiple directions.  The physical nature of carbon fibre means it physically CANNOT BE STRETCHED.  For three dimensional objects (like cello cases)  compressing in one direction requires streching in the opposite direction.  Weaving it into a multi-directional braided sheet means that if the case is subject to compression (getting squashed) in one direction it cannot compress, because that would mean it would have to be stretched in another direction.  It wont stretch, therfore it wont compress!

Includes wheels, and detachable padded shoulder straps for ease of transport. Cellists who spend a lot of time in airports will appreciate the attached wheels. The interior is plush-lined and fully padded with a full suspension feature to cradle the instrument. The fully arched top reinforcements the geometrical structure of the case to ensure the ultimate protection for the instrument and peace of mind for the player.
