Beautiful antique German violin. 3/4 size. Dated year1930.
Fully restored to showroom condition, with new Dominant strings, new Despiau bridge, new Wittner tailpiece. A beautiful tone and a delight to play.
Hermann Dolling Jnr", c.1910 in Markneukirchen, Germany. The Hermann Dolling Jnr workshop employed the finest craftsmen in the area, and the workmanship of this instrument is of the highest quality. Everything from the arching of the top plate, to the selection of maple on the back plate and the beautifully finished carving of the scroll. It is well kept, and in excellent playing condition. It’s looking for a new owner to bring out it’s glorious sound once again.

- Head and ribs of equal quality maple with fine flaming to match
- Top is made of high quality spruce
- Varnish is light brown in colour, on a yellow ground
